Working Principle of Single Screw Pump
A single screw pump operates by the continuous meshing of a helical rotor and an elastic stator with an internal helical cavity. As the rotor rotates eccentrically inside the stator, a series of sealed, isolated chambers are formed along the axial direction. During rotation, these chambers move steadily from the suction side to the discharge side, gradually conveying and pressurizing the medium. This uniform volumetric movement ensures low shear force, stable flow, and no pulsation during delivery, enabling the pump to transfer media containing solid particles or high-viscosity fluids efficiently.
