The core working principle of a centrifugal water pump is water transmission by centrifugal force. It completes the suction, pressurization and transmission of liquid through the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller. The overall working process is divided into three stages: water suction, pressurization and drainage.

Before the equipment starts, the pump body and suction pipeline must be filled with liquid to exhaust internal air and form a closed vacuum environment. After the motor is started, the pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, and the impeller blades drive the liquid in the pump body to rotate synchronously. Under the action of centrifugal force during high-speed rotation, the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the outer edge, with its kinetic energy and pressure energy continuously increased in the process.

After being thrown out of the impeller, the liquid enters the volute flow channel of the pump body. The volute structure converts the kinetic energy of the liquid into static pressure energy and further increases the liquid pressure. As the liquid in the pump body is continuously thrown out, a low-pressure vacuum zone is formed in the center of the impeller. Under the pressure difference between the external atmospheric pressure and the internal negative pressure of the pump, the liquid in the liquid storage tank is continuously pressed into the pump through the suction pipeline to fill the vacancy in the impeller center.
With the continuous rotation of the impeller, the liquid completes the cyclic process of suction, pressurization, throwing out and pressure stabilization, finally forming a continuous and stable fluid transmission effect, and realizing the continuous transmission of liquid from low level to high level or from low pressure to high pressure.
